D.C. Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD)

For the CBE Green Program, a Department of Small & Local Business Development funded initiative, we developed a marketing program to help Washington D.C. based small businesses grow and secure contracts in the green energy industry. The program included developing a new brand, DC Goes Green, content strategy, and creating a marketing course to teach the small businesses business-to-business marketing strategies.

The Bail Project

For the Bail Project, a national nonprofit organization that pays bail for people in need, reuniting families and restoring the presumption of innocence, we created a monthly donor program to acquire new donors and increase the retention of the current donors.

Washington D.C. Department of Behavioral Health

For the Washington D.C. Department of Behavioral Health’s Transitional Age Youth (TAY) program, we created a social media strategy to promote public awareness and understanding about behavioral health, substance use, and DBH services that are specific to young adults ages 16 -25.

D.C. Department of Health (WIC)

For the Washington D.C. Department of Health’s, Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) program, we developed a three-year data-driven, marketing and outreach strategy designed to reach more women and children and strengthen benefit use.

D.C. State Board of Education

For the Washington D.C. State Board of Education, we updated their master logo to optimize it for use across multiple types of media and corrected the logo file types. We also created new secondary logos for use in other applications and created new full color and grayscale versions.

D.C. Office of the Ombudsman

For the Washington D.C. Office of the Ombudsman for Public Education, we created digital ads to help promote opportunities that the D.C. government had available to support students who were impacted due to distance learning, as a result of Covid-19. We created multiple ads in both English and Spanish. The results of the work helped them increase their brand awareness and promote their services to target constituents.

For Agape Citizens, a new online clothing boutique that creates faith-based apparel, we created the visual identity and marketing strategy to promote its launch. The results of the work helped them increase their brand awareness and increase their sales.

The African American Women's Giving Circle (AAWGC) engaged us to assist with their market research. For this engagement, we conducted in depth interviews to help them define their uniqueness and selling points. We leveraged these insights to create a target member profile that they are using to grow their membership strategically. Since working with us, they are working smarter and seeing an improvement in their social media presence.

Student Athletes for Educational Opportunities

For the Student Athletes for Educations Opportunities (SAFEO), we supported the launch of their new marketing campaign by developing a new logo to support its launch. We also developed a multi-channel fundraising strategy to help them drive revenue to support the new campaign. Through our work, we helped them increase their brand awareness and fundraising revenue.

For the Coming Home Cooperative, an association of small business start-ups, we developed their brand identity and created a promotional strategy to recruit members. For each of the small business members, we designed the visual identity and marketing collateral including logos, websites, social media graphics, and print collateral.
